Holidays and other peak times may be subject to additional fees.

Day bookings (prices depend on the nature, size, and needs of the dog’s).

Overnight stays - again depending on the nature, size, and needs of the dog’s.

Each additional animal is $10 extra, per day.

Medication application, prescription pick up, veterinarian visits, etc. are customarily an à la carte add-on to the daily charges.

The CDG reserves the right to apply best judgment regarding animal medical care and making any determinations to take an animal to veterinarian care as deemed warranted.

The Dog Guru understands that the dogs are more than just pets, they are beloved family members that deserve the best of care. Safety is always first and your dog is monitored to insure optimal tail wagging.

Jayme has been involved with animals and house-sitting for over 30 years.

Typically, the preference is to have the pets stay in their own home environment, however Jayme does board at her family’s home in certain circumstances. Jayme and Tim do not own dogs, but will happily provide socialization for dogs who respond well.

The first step to securing an assignment with The Dog Guru is an in-home interview.  During this interview Jayme and her husband Tim, a local businessman that accompanies Jayme on all overnight assignments, sit down with the pet owners and the pets to get to know each other.

Jayme is selective during this screening and is very thorough in all forms of due diligence ensuring that the arrangement will be a good fit for everyone involved.  Comfort is the key - pets are already stressed enough when their humans are away… keeping them calm, safe, secure, and confident are Jayme’s specialties!
